Java 9 is the next major release and scheduled for release in July, 2017. This talk will give an overview of new APIs and API updates, such as Stream API, Collections, Process API, HTTP/2 and will overview the jvm changes: Unified Logging, new default GC and key updates in the JIT compiler.
