I will share 1.5 year experience of using MongoDB in geo distributed systems, for cloud (AWS) and on-premise, including: generic Java driver usage examples and why ODM frameworks (Morpia, Spring Data) were not the case, tag aware sharding with data center affinity approach (resistance to network disconnections, faster searches), schemas of setups, explaining availability and queries routing and performance.
